Allegretti Architects specializes in fine designs appropriate to the unique environment and traditions of Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico. Allegretti assures success for each client’s project with two goals: commitment to design excellence and pledge of superior service. Greg Allegretti manages each project personally with dedication to these objectives.

Allegretti was trained at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 1979. He has since accumulated thirty years of architectural experience primarily in Northern New Mexico. His background includes a varied mix of residential, commercial, and institutional projects. He holds architect registrations in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Virginia and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He has been the principal architect of a firm in New Mexico since 1992.

Allegretti has incorporated sustainability into his designs since the early 1980’s, specializing in integrated passive solar architecture as well as other sustainable technologies. He is a member of the US Green Building Council.

Allegretti has given the Santa Fe community many attractive residential and commercial projects. Some important designs include the Las Campanas Fire Station, the Pecos Valley Medical Center and the Economos Canyon Road Gallery. Allegretti was the project architect for the Casapueblo Inn, a 32-unit lodging in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

In 1996, Greg Allegretti was selected as associate architect for the new Georgia O’Keeffe Museum along with project architect Richard Gluckman & Associates. The museum opened ten months later and is now enjoyed by thousands of visitors annually.

Allegretti has received several professional recognitions including a 1998 City of Santa Fe historic preservation award. Allegretti Architects is a member of the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce and maintains an A plus rating with the Better Business Bureau.
