Foreign Investors Optimistic About Recovery

Foreign real estate investors say they expect to see recovery in the U.S. housing market by the end of the second quarter of 2010, according to a recent survey by the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate. Nearly one third of survey respondents said they feel more optimistic about their investment projections for 2009 than they did at the beginning of the year. While three fourths of respondents had not made any investments this year, more than two thirds plan to invest some debt or equity in U.S. real estate before the end of 2009.
