The New Mexico History Museum will offer free admission again this weekend.

The Museum of New Mexico Foundation is picking up the tab in celebration of the grand opening of the new Spiegelberg Shop at the History Museum and the renovated Palace of the Governors shop. Events planned from noon to 4 p.m. both days include author talks, book signings and artist demonstrations.

The official opening of the new History Museum last Sunday and Monday was also free and drew 20,658 visitors.
