Mortgage Rates Retreat Ever So Slightly

Rates on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages moved down to 4.22 percent with for the week ending Nov. 21, down from 4.35  percent last week, Freddie Mac said in releasing the results of its weekly Primary Mortgage Market Survey.

Rates on 15-year fixed-rate mortgages, popular with homeowners who are refinancing, slid to 3.27 percent, down from 3.35 percent last week.
