Santa Fe Voted Third Most Popular Travel Destination in the U.S.A.

Condé Nast Traveler magazine selected Santa Fe as the third-most-popular travel city in the United States this year after San Francisco and Charleston, S.C.  Santa Fe was voted third last year as well.  Cities were rated on atmosphere and ambience, culture, sites, friendliness, lodging, restaurants, and shopping.

For the past ninteteen years Santa Fe has been included as one of the top travel destinations in the survey.  In 1992 the city got enough votes from the magazine’s readers to be picked as their No. 1 travel destination in the world.

This year’s other top-10 cities include Chicago, New York, Honolulu, Savannah, Carmel, Seattle and Boston.
